I ran for Congress because I was sick and tired about the direction our country was headed in, and I’ve worked every day for Illinois families and to make our country and our community a better place.  I’ve fought for lower taxes, health care reform and slashing the regulatory burdens that stifle small businesses. And this past year, I was proud to champion tax reform — the biggest changes in our tax code in nearly 30 years.

There’s a lot of work left to be done, but we’re making progress. Today, our citizens are seeing more money in their paychecks, small businesses are hiring, and workers are getting raises because of this historic legislation.  I continue to fight for better services for our nation’s veterans and will continue to work for real health care reform that gets rid of Obamacare and replaces it with patient-doctor centered coverage that is accessible and affordable for all.

You can count on me to continue to work for you each and every day that I have the honor and privilege of serving the great people of the 14th district of Illinois.  I hope I can count on your continued support.
